Albert graduated from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain). He undertook an internship in farm an equine medicine at the same university and after another year working in Spain with the army stud horses and a rural mixed practice, Albert moved to Dubai to specialise solely in equine medicine an orthopaedics. During his time in the UAE, he worked with high performance and competition endurance race horses and the odd, racing camel.
After his time in the desert, Albert came to the UK in 2014 to work in a purely equine practice in Leicestershire, followed by a rotating internship at Liverpool University Equine Hospital. Albert joined Murrell Equine after working for three years as a veterinary surgeon at the Equine Practice of the Royal Veterinary College.
Albert has completed the modules towards the certificate in advance veterinary practice in General Equine Practice (involving from ophthalmology to geriatric medicine) and the more specific Certificate in Equine Lameness Diagnosis and Therapeutics, his main area of interest.
Outside of work, Albert enjoys running, walks on the countryside and road trips with his campervan.
